In 1907, the New Orleans Mint struck this silver ten-cent piece, a physical survivor from a fascinating era of American coinage. Minted with a silver purity of 90 percent, this coin contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. It represents the long-running Barber design series, which defined the look of United States silver coinage at the turn of the twentieth century. The obverse of the coin showcases a classical profile of Lady Liberty, depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath. Surrounding her portrait are the bold letters of the inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with the year 1907 anchored at the bottom. This particular coin has been graded in Very Good condition, showing honest wear from its time in circulation while retaining its essential design elements. On the reverse, a detailed wreath frames the central denomination, which reads ONE DIME.
