0.1808 troy oz .900 1907 Brilliant Unc

In 1907, the New Orleans Mint struck 4,560,000 silver quarter dollars, each composed of 90 percent silver with a precious metal weight of 0.1808 troy ounces. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, preserving the intricate details of a design that defined turn of the century American coinage. The obverse features a classic profile of Lady Liberty. She is depicted wearing a Phrygian cap underneath a traditional laurel wreath, surrounded by the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the 1907 year of issue. On the reverse, a majestic eagle with spread wings bears a shield upon its breast. In its beak, the bird holds a scroll inscribed with the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM". Its talons grip both an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, symbolizing peace and readiness. The New Orleans "O" mint mark is located beneath the eagle, identifying its historic origin.
