1907-S Barber Dime AU
This silver dime, minted in 1907 at the San Francisco facility, represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck with a silver purity of 90 percent, the coin contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. It remains in an impressive Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving the fine details of its century-old artistry. The obverse side of the coin displays the profile of Lady Liberty, adorned with a traditional Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath. Her crown bears the legible inscription of LIBERTY. Surrounding her portrait are the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA alongside the 1907 year of issue. On the reverse, a detailed wreath encircles the face value, which is written as ONE DIME. At the very bottom of the design, the S mint mark indicates its origin from the historic San Francisco Mint. This piece was created by the noted designer Charles Barber, whose work defined the look of American silver coinage at the turn of the twentieth century.
