Struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1907, this silver dime represents a classic era of United States coinage. Crafted from 90 percent silver with a metal content of 0.0715 troy ounces, this ten-cent piece carries the distinct artistry of the turn of the twentieth century. In its Very Good state of preservation, the coin retains its essential design elements despite more than a century of passage through American hands. The obverse of the coin presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty. She is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap underneath a classical laurel wreath. On this particular specimen, a portion of the word "LIBERTY" remains visible on her headband, a key detail for this grade. The year 1907 is anchored at the bottom of the design, surrounded by the national inscription. On the reverse, the coin displays its denomination of "ONE DIME" boldly at the center. This text is encircled by a detailed wreath composed of various agricultural leaves and grains. The San Francisco origin is marked by the "S" mint mark, completing a design that reflects the practical elegance of early twentieth-century circulating currency.
