1908-D Barber Dime Good/VG
Struck in the mountain air of Denver, Colorado, this 1908 silver dime carries the unmistakable artistry of Charles Barber. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver, containing 0.0715 troy ounces of the precious metal. Having circulated heavily through early twentieth-century commerce, it now displays the soft, honest wear characteristic of a Good to Very Good grade. On the obverse, the profile of Lady Liberty is depicted wearing a laurel wreath over a Phrygian cap. While the word Liberty within her crown is no longer visible at this stage of wear, the overall portrait remains recognizable, framed by a rim that may show slight weakness from decades of handling. The reverse features a traditional wreath that encircles the face value of ONE DIME, with the Denver mint mark positioned just below.
