The 1910 Barber half dollar represents a classic era of United States silver coinage. Struck in 90% fine silver, this fifty-cent piece contains 0.3575 troy ounces of precious metal. Designed by Charles Barber, the coin showcases a distinct turn-of-the-century aesthetic that defined American pocket change during the early 1900s. On the obverse side, Lady Liberty is depicted facing right, wearing a Phrygian cap and a traditional laurel wreath. The word Liberty is clearly visible on her headband, a hallmark of the design that remains identifiable even on examples preserved in Fine condition. The year 1910 is anchored at the bottom of the profile. The reverse features a powerful heraldic eagle with its wings spread wide, protecting a shield across its chest. In its beak, the eagle holds a banner, while its talons grasp a symbolic olive branch and a bundle of arrows.
