This silver half dollar from 1910 represents a classic era of United States coinage. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, the coin carries the distinctive 'S' mint mark on its reverse side. With a total mintage of 1,948,000 pieces, this issue is a compelling survivor of early twentieth-century commerce, composed of 90 percent silver with a precious metal content of 0.3617 troy ounces. The obverse of the coin features a classical portrait of Liberty wearing a laurel wreath and a crown, flanked by the national motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' with the date 1910 positioned at the bottom.
