Struck in the early twentieth century, this 1910 silver half dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage. Minted at the San Francisco facility, as indicated by the S mint mark, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver, which equates to 0.3575 troy ounces of precious metal. Having circulated through daily commerce, it survives today in Very Good condition, showing honest wear while retaining its essential design elements. The obverse presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty, who wears a laurel wreath atop her head along with a Phrygian cap. A ribbon in her hair displays the word LIBERTY, while the year 1910 is positioned at the bottom of the frame. Above her image, the national motto IN GOD WE TRUST is inscribed along the upper rim.
