The year 1914 marked a classic era in American coinage, represented beautifully by this ten-cent piece. Struck in 90% silver, this dime contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. It was minted in Philadelphia, carrying the distinctive artistry of Charles Barber, who lent his name to this entire legendary series of United States currency. On the obverse side, the profile of Lady Liberty faces right, adorned with a traditional Phrygian cap and a delicate laurel wreath. Her crown bears a ribbon inscribed with the word "LIBERTY". Encircling this central portrait is the name of the issuing nation, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", alongside the 1914 year of manufacture. The reverse of the coin focuses on simplicity and natural elegance. A lush wreath of foliage wraps around the center, enclosing the face value of "ONE DIME".
