The 1914 Barber dime, struck at the Denver Mint, represents a classic era of United States silver coinage. Crafted from 90 percent silver, this ten-cent piece carries a metal content of 0.0715 troy ounces. This particular specimen survives in Fine condition, showing the honest wear of a coin that actively circulated in the early twentieth century. Designed by Charles Barber, the obverse of the coin presents a dignified profile of Lady Liberty. She wears a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a laurel wreath, a classic symbol of victory and honor. The word "Liberty" is inscribed upon her headband, while the surrounding legend reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" with the date "1914" positioned at the bottom. On the reverse, the coin features a prominent wreath that encircles the denomination, which is written simply as "ONE DIME."
