0.1788 troy oz .900 1914 Extra Fine

Struck at the Denver Mint in 1914, this silver quarter dollar represents a classic era of United States coinage. Crafted from 90 percent silver, the coin contains approximately 0.17875 troy ounces of precious metal. It survives today in Extra Fine condition, preserving the intricate details of its century-old artistry. Designed by Charles Barber, the obverse of the coin presents a profile of Lady Liberty. She wears a laurel wreath atop a Phrygian cap, surrounded by the national motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year of mintage, 1914. This design is paired with a reverse that features a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle carries a shield on its chest, clutches an olive branch and a bundle of arrows in its talons, and holds a ribbon inscribed with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak.
