1915 Barber Dime Good/VG

0.0715 troy oz .900 1915 Good/Very Good

The 1915 Barber dime represents a classic era of United States coinage, minted in 90% fine silver with a precious metal content of 0.0715 troy ounces. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this ten-cent piece showcases the distinct artistic style of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. On the obverse side, the profile of Lady Liberty is depicted wearing a traditional Phrygian cap adorned with a laurel wreath. While the word "Liberty" is not visible on the headband of coins in this Good to Very Good condition, the overall design remains a powerful symbol of the era. The legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the date "1915" frame the central portrait. The reverse of the coin features a detailed agricultural wreath that encircles the denomination "ONE DIME". Depending on the individual coin's wear, the rim on this reverse side may appear slightly weak, which is characteristic of pieces that circulated widely during the early twentieth century.
