The 1915-D Barber Quarter is a fascinating artifact from the early twentieth century, minted in Denver during the final years of this iconic design series. Composed of 90 percent silver, this twenty-five cent piece contains approximately 0.1788 troy ounces of precious metal. It represents the craftsmanship of an era just before the United States modernized its coinage designs. On the obverse side, the profile of Lady Liberty facing right is adorned with a laurel wreath and a Phrygian cap. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed above her head, with the year 1915 positioned at the bottom. This classic depiction is paired with a reverse design featuring a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle carries a shield on its chest, clutches a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons, and holds a banner in its beak bearing the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The Denver mintmark "D" is located on the reverse, indicating its origin at the Colorado facility.
