2 oz Silver High Relief Round - Barber Half
This substantial two-ounce silver round honors the classic design created by Charles E. Barber, which originally circulated on United States half dollars from 1892 to 1915. Often referred to as the Liberty Head, the imagery is brought to life here in a high-relief format, struck on a 39 mm planchet of 0.999 fine silver. The front of the round displays the profile of Lady Liberty looking toward the right. She wears a laurel wreath atop a Phrygian cap. Surrounding her likeness are the words LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, accompanied by stars and a year of issue. On the back, the design presents an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. A heraldic eagle holds both arrows and an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing strength and peace. The traditional motto E PLURIBUS UNUM is featured alongside inscriptions indicating the issuing country, the purity, and the weight of two troy ounces.
