This substantial two-ounce silver round honors the classic design created by Charles E. Barber, which originally circulated on United States half dollars from 1892 to 1915. Often referred to as the Liberty Head, the imagery is brought to life here in a high-relief format, struck on a 39 mm planchet of 0.999 fine silver. The front of the round displays the profile of Lady Liberty looking toward the right. She wears a laurel wreath atop a Phrygian cap.
