The 1930 Standing Liberty Quarter represents the final year of one of America's most celebrated circulating silver designs. Struck in 90% fine silver, this twenty-five cent coin contains approximately 0.17875 troy ounces of precious metal. This particular specimen has achieved a certified grade of Mint State 64, distinguished further by the coveted Full Head designation, which indicates an exceptionally sharp and complete strike on the most delicate details of the central figure. Created by sculptor Hermon MacNeil, the obverse of the coin displays a powerful depiction of Lady Liberty stepping through an opening in a stone wall. In one hand, she cradles an olive branch as a symbol of peace, while her other arm holds a shield aloft for defense. The inscriptions "IN CODV WE TRVST" flank her figure. The reverse of the coin features a majestic eagle soaring through the sky with its wings fully spread. Surrounding the flying eagle are the traditional inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLVRIBVS VNVM," and the denomination "QUARTER DOLLAR."
