Struck in the final year of its series, this 1930 Standing Liberty quarter represents a classic era of United States coinage. Minted in Philadelphia, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver, containing approximately 0.1788 troy ounces of the precious metal. Surviving in Very Fine condition, it showcases the distinctive artistry that defined American pocket change during the early twentieth century. The obverse features Hermon MacNeil's famous depiction of Liberty stepping forward through an opening in a wall. In one hand she holds a defensive shield, while her other hand extends an olive branch as a symbol of peace. The inscription "IN COD WE TRVST" is visible on the gate, alongside the traditional word "LIBERTY" and the 1930 year of issue. On the reverse, the design showcases an eagle soaring through the sky. Surrounding the majestic bird are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "QUARTER DOLLAR", along with the Latin motto "E PLVRIBVS VNVM".
